About the Business
Welcome to Bacchus Marsh Veterinary Centre, located at 7 Clifton Drive in Bacchus Marsh, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care for all companion animals, from the smallest pocket pets to the largest creatures. Our modern and professional services are also affordable, ensuring that your pets receive the best healthcare without breaking the bank.
At Bacchus Marsh Vet Centre, we not only cater to domestic pets but also work with wildlife and rescue groups to provide care for those in need. Our team consists of ten veterinarians, along with a dedicated group of nurses and support staff who are all passionate about animals and committed to making you and your pet feel comfortable in our care.
We have been an integral part of the local community for many years, and our strong connection with our clients is of utmost importance to us. Our clients rely on us for sound advice and treatment options, knowing that their beloved pets are in the best hands with our team.
Vaccinations play a crucial role in controlling the spread of diseases among our pets. During your pet's annual vaccination, we conduct a thorough health check to ensure their happiness and well-being. Additionally, microchipping is essential for reuniting lost pets with their owners, and it is also compulsory for breeders to microchip animals before sale.
Our veterinarians possess a high level of expertise, and our clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art surgical suite, enabling us to provide a wide range of routine and emergency surgeries for your pet.
Emergencies can occur unexpectedly, and we are here for you and your pets after regular business hours. Our clinic offers emergency consultations from close of business until midnight, Monday to Saturday, and from 8 am to midnight on Sundays. Outside of these hours, we redirect emergency care to neighboring emergency hospitals.
In addition to our veterinary services, we often have kittens and cats in need of loving homes through our adoption kitten program. All our feline adoptions are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, making them ready for a new home. If you are interested, please submit an application form to be placed on the waiting list.
We understand the importance of early socialization and training for puppy development, as it helps strengthen the bond between dogs and their families. That's why we offer Puppy Pre-school every Tuesday. Bookings are essential, so be sure to reserve a spot for your furry friend.
Our clinic hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that we are closed on Sundays, but we do offer an emergency on-call service from 8 am to midnight. For emergencies outside of our operating hours, we recommend contacting Advanced Vet Care, Geelong Animal Emergency, or Animal Referral Hospital.
To ensure efficient service, please be aware that appointments are necessary for all our clinics, including Melton and Ballan. You can make bookings by phone or in person, but we are unable to schedule appointments through social media or email.
Please note that our Ballan clinic hours may vary due to staff availability, and appointments are strictly by appointment only.
Lastly, we would like to inform you that as of April 2019, we no longer offer large animal or equine services.
Thank you for choosing Bacchus Marsh Veterinary Centre for all your pet's healthcare needs. We look forward to providing exceptional care for your furry family members.

"Attended with a friend to say farewell to a beloved 15.5year old Spaniel friend. Vet Nursing staff Nicole assisted by carrying our four legged friend in from the car to the consultation room where they had a cosy vet bed already on the table for the dog to lie on. The vet attending the appointment was the Practice Manager, Sandy who had plenty of treats on hand for the dog and tissues for my friend who has bought many dogs to this practice over the years. It was a peaceful passing for the dear old dog. Both the dog & my friend were treated with utmost care, dignity, respect & compassion by all the staff. Outstanding service. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. I have attended for other services too, canine vaccinations, microchipping, export documentation, and assistance with whelping a litter to name a few."
"They are wonderful vets, my dogs love rebecca.she is wonderful with dogs, good or bad. And doesn't judge them for their breed"
"Fantastic staff to help me with my fur baby. From the first phone call to get an urgent booking to the end. Dr Rayner explained everything and she is just a wonderful and understanding person. Thank you to all the staff."
"Excellent veterinary clinic that go above and beyond to accommodate for their clients. My very large German shepherd (Chaos) has had severe anxiety issues with vets in the past and had a fairly bad cut on his pad, the vet we seen was the first one that hasn't immediately refused to treat him and pushed on with the consultation after a snap and followed through with the appointment. It's the only clinic I will take my dog to now, they were great and transparent with prices."
