"After receiving a code to retrieve keys from a safe across the road, our code was "invalid" we called 28 times as the call taker kept putting us on hold and hanging up. They agreed to come down and give us a key. We waited for 65 mins with 2 children out the front for a key. We were told they were 5 mins away. Once we got inside the tv did not work. Overall the service was not acceptable. The room itself was ok. Will never stay again."

"Pretty good value. Lack of a front desk is a bit inconvenient. Carpet is a bit dingy/stained and the halls/doors are pretty scuffed. But the linens are clean and the kitchen is reasonably well equipped. We're happy with it"

"I would not recommend this property for families to stay at. The photos were misleading in a sense that we believed we had quite a spacious apartment instead being greeted by a poky wee room. In addition there was no reception to correspond with, the lady that came to us said she was on level 17 which we could not reach because our swipe cards wouldn't allow it. We have tried calling numerous times only to get the answer machine. Another problem is we booked two rooms on the same booking, we were put on two didferent levels and had to go all the way to grlund floor to call our other family members to come down and get us. Absolutely ridiculous.We asked for our foxtel to be fixed on day 1 she said she would be back but wasn't. We werw given one dishwasher tablet and one pack of washibg powder which had to last 4 days and 3 nights!!!!! We haven't seen her since we came on Sunday and it is now wednesday when we are ready to check out. We fly out at 11.35pm tonight and asked if we could store our luggage since we must check out at 10am which she agreed too but it has not been followed through with as we can not contact her. I would not recommend this place to anybody whatsoever the service was bad and it hindered our stay in Melbourne. This was our first time coming here so we are not impressed. It's not as if it was cheap either."

"Stayed in a 2br apartment for the weekend (3 adults). Location was good and in easy walking distance to great restaurants, Bourke St Mall and many attractions. The apartment was in reasonably good condition but unfortunately there was some confusion in that we believed we had booked a 2br, 2 bathroom apartment however when we arrived we were in a 2br, 1 bathroom. Care should be taken if using a booking web site as both 2br and 2br deluxe apartments are listed however on requesting clarification after our stay it would seem that both options are exactly the same apartment (ie 2br, 1 bathroom). Putting the confusion aside completely a big disappointment was the living space. The photos on their web site are definitely not accurate, rather, in our experience a misrepresentation. Instead of the comfortable living area as shown on the website which was one of the main reasons we booked this apartment (photos of a 2br, I bathroom apartment showing a roomy space with two couches) we had one couch squeezed into the corner of a very tiny living space. The kitchen area was also not anything like the images shown on our booking. Whilst it is understandable that the apartments would all vary slightly the vast difference seemed misleading. We knew prior to arriving that there was no reception and would need to phone/text for access, luggage collection etc. That said, once there something about the arrangement in general felt quite uneasy. Left feeling mislead and disappointed, particularly after further correspondence with property managers. Would stay elsewhere in future."

"Stayed here for a few nights and thought it was pretty good. Criticisms: It was confusing to find as the apartments are made up of a few different buildings (none actually labelled "Apartments Melbourne Domain") and was odd there being no sort of reception, rather, we were greeted by a man in casual clothes out the front who we were barely able to recognise from a stranger on the street. Fortunately the man ended up being quite accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The security bond of $500 (of which we were not informed prior to booking) is quite hefty, and it took a while after checking out to receive this back. Positives: The apartment was modern looking and they had a decent TV with Foxtel. The appliances looked brand new, and the apartment was all-round "cosy". The aircon worked well (which was good in the sweltering heat when we were there). The view from the balcony was pretty decent, although not spectacular. It is close to Domain Interchange and it was very easy to catch the tram into the CBD, which we did quite often. The cost of the stay was well worth it and I felt like the prices were quite fair. I think this is due to the fact that the apartments are able to mostly operate autonomously with little intervention from any sort of staff. Conclusion: Easily identifiable staff would be a great addition (perhaps a uniform or even a badge?) and the lowering of the security bond (at least for more temporary occupants) would be ideal. Also, a quicker return of the deposit would go a long way in keeping patrons happy. Some "Apartments Melbourne Domain" signage would also make it a lot easier to find the place. If these things were to be resolved (which they may be by now, as we stayed a little while ago) then I would definitely consider staying again! My actual rating would be 3.5 stars but unfortunately these reviews will not allow half-stars, so I'll have to go with a generous 4 :)"
