"This is a lovely 3-star hotel, the staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but we only even use a hotel room for sleeping as we keep busy on our trips away and dont spend a lot of time in the hotel. We have stayed here a couple of times and both have been pleasant. The rooms are quiet as well which is a bonus. Very close to tram and train stops"
"Customer service was poor. First night the night manager was abrupt. A big deal was made about charging meals back to room. First night no soap, lucky I use my own. Room cleaned but garbage not collected. Mark on my pillow, so I was not sure linnen was changed before I came. But, it was cheap and convenient so I gave three stars."
"I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Exhibition Centre. The room was a lot smaller than I an anticipated, and didn't have a window, however, on this occasion it was not a big concern as I was out all day. The room was clean enough, however, the grime on the bathroom floor tiles was a bit concerning. When unpacking, I opened the wardrobe (which wasn't full length) to find the previous guests drying menstrual pants hanging up drying along with a hair wrap - disgusting and when I asked them to be removed I was told that I didn't pay for housekeeping. After some discussion the items were removed. The bathroom didn't have any drawers and storage was not available for items with the exception of a very narrow shelf. There was a mirror over the basin that should have had a light behind it, the globe was not working. I asked reception for it to be fixed. I came back 10 hours later and instead of the light being fixed, the globe had been totally removed. I brought this to the attention of reception and they stated that they would get it fixed - it wasn't fixed for my stay - Wednesday - Sunday. Very disappointing. Keeping the same temperature going in the shower is a true test of talent. An important note is that the hotel has many levels that cannot be accessed if you have difficulty with stairs or carrying your suit cases up and down stairs. The walls are thin, the ceilings let you hear all the movement in the room above. Would I stay there again? I am undecided and this is because of the location only."
"The Hotel is in Ideal location in Spencer street in Melbourne, near to Tram station & Sky bus station.(those who use from Airport its good). The room is enough Spacious, Wifi is good and they have locker room. The only one Cons I felt is Complimentary breakfast is not buffet(but staff served) and Breakfast is allowed to Only One person/room, not for all the guest in a room"
"Great hotel in a really good location. Close to tram stops and trains and a short walk to the heart of the city. Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Beware there are currently tracker's happening on Spencer Street that you need to allow a little more time to get around, but still a great place to stay."
