"The apartment was huge. It's a little dated but clean. The view from the upper floor was sensational over the river to the crown fire towers. The only problem, and it's a big one, is the constant noise of the trains as you're trying to sleep. It sounds like they're coming through the apartment. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. I need to sleep at night."
"Extremely unprofessional! Booked a room here with free cancellation. Riverside took payment months prior to my booking date. I eventually cancelled my booking in the free cancellation window. It took 6 weeks to get refunded my Money and that was only because I initiated a chargeback on my credit card. The hotel were unhelpful with responses of we are working on your refund via email. Ringing there number they were providing similar responses. 6 weeks and no refund from the hotel. I’m sure if I didn’t initiate a charge back this hotel would have Just kept my money. I will never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone. Extremely unprofessional!"
"No direct internal access from carpark to hotel. In need of updated decor. Payment was taken too early without any notice. Bed layout was not correct. Smoke alarms were covered in plastic. Bedside lamps not connected to power. No on-site reception. No face washers provided. Family in other room didn’t have any bath towels. No instructions to room or equipment (whereas our family in another room had welcome notes and instructions on how to use oven, air con etc). Only one key per room provided."
"Great apartments with amazing views of the city. Our room was neat and tidy and freshly cleaned. The heating however was not working but the staff were very quick to get us heaters to use for the next 5 days which worked well. The location is so close to everything and with a tram stop right at the door essentially. The area felt safe during the night also. The trains go by right outside so if you're a light sleeper that might bother you."
"I had a 2 bedroom Penthouse, its was terrible. Smelt musty as soon as we opened the door, couch was stained. Holes in the wall the kitchen hotplate was dirty, very dated. Photos on website do not match what you get. The service manager was very nice though, tried to find us another room but couldn't and said we'd get a refund, which has not happened after many, many phone calls and emails. So frustrating!!!"
