"Fantastic location - easy access from southern cross station & airport Tram stop around each corner Good quick food options, chemist warehouse and supermarket close by. Front of house staff very helpful and friendly. House keeping needs some fine tuning. Beds not made & no cleaning done in 3 nights. Bins emptied and new towels given but old ones left"
"For the price i have, its a steal! I'm a bit afraid to stay here because of bad review, but I'm happy i gave this hotel a chance. + newly renovated room + very clean + powerful heater and they even put powerful halogen to heat up the bathroom (thumbs up) + location location and location + excellent staff + smart tv, new fridge, new electronics appliances, new toilet and etc. + price is just really good + laundry for 1.5 and 2.5 for dryer. - Proper bed - i wish there is a ramp to bring up my luggage (although staff are very helpful) Overall I'm very happy to stay here and I hope it deserves second chance to improve their rating."

"This hotel is undertaking upgrades due to being a bit tired in places. My room was clean, bed was comfortable and a newly renovated bathroom. Staff were excellent as was the location. You do get a bit of Street noise if you face King Street but it wasn't a problem. For the price I was very happy and would stay again."
"Arrived after 11pm from Perth with my young daughter. All we wanted was a quiet night's sleep. My gut instinct when I was allocated a room on the first floor (room 126) was to all for another for, but I didn't. Then on walking to our room, I see we are right near the cafe. Unfortunately there were guests still there drinking until after 1am throwing glass bottles into bins so they crashed making a lot of noise. But to top it off, we must have been allocated the room right under or next to the laundry. From 5am, what sounded like an industrial washer/dryer was being used constantly. So glad we are moving to another hotel. Won't be returning to this hotel again!"
