"Blood stains on sheet, dining room table falling over, curtain rail collapsing, rusty dish drainer, flywire screen on rear door full of huge holes (lots of mosquitos), filthy microwave oven... contacted number provided by text. Was asked to list all issues. Did this. Was asked to send photos. Did this. Was texted back "we will be in contact asap". 2 weeks after stay, had still not been contacted. Sent screenshot of their earlier message, saying we were still waiting for contact. Was asked to EMAIL all issues to them. Frustrated, sent them screenshots of all communication to date. Was sent an extremely rude reply. The accommodation had small issues that could ALL have been fixed... but, alas, the Custome Service is NON EXISTENT - in fact, it is Anti-Service. Will never return, and hope this review is helpful to others. :)"

"Cottages are cosy and OK for the money asked, but the owner is an argumentative old so and so - don't expect any customer service if things aren't as you expect. And take your own firewood! We paid an extra $50 for firewood to be supplied (too expensive, but we are on holiday from overseas so it was convenient) and all we found were half a dozen old logs left over from previous visitors. Apparently this was our problem, as when we asked for a refund all we got was an argument. It is a shame as this left us with a negative feeling from our stay."

"Had a great relaxing weekend away with my partner, didn't even feel like we were only 40 mins from home.checking in and out was as easy as punching a code into the door of our cabin. The towns around the area were homey and cute with plenty to see and do and so many amazing eateries. 100% will stay at lotus lodges again."

"Our stay at Lotus Lodges was unhappy stay. Myself my husband and my 6 months old daughter were very cold all 3 nights in this accommodation. My 6 months old daughter ended up coughing as it was freezing weather at nights in dandenong rangers and they had broken heater in their cottage. All first night i was fiddling around with the heater to switch it on with crying from cold baby and messeging the staff about the problem but only very late in the next morning someone answered back and sent useless RACV service. RACV guy came checked the heater unit and did nothing so i msged their staff back again then almost all day was messeging and keep sending photos of the lebel and information about heater to their staff hopping they will send someone but no one came in our 3 day stay and no one bothered to bring in spear heater either. I was told to check a spear unit in the front cupboard but found summer fan i stead then was asked to check spear units in the white car that was parked in one of their cottage so i did and couldn't find one either. I was on my holidays in Dandenong rangers and wasn't souposed to sms/ communicate with their staff and wait for RACV guy instead of enjoying my stay. Other thing is tv unit was making a constant noice once it was on while watching tv. And some of the coffee sachets were off stailed."

"Intimate experience with reasonable quality interior. Had previous good experience, but this time ended up leaving 30min into our stay after finding 17 live European wasps in the room across the floor and flying about. Was transferred into alternate accommodation which was sub standard. Complaints process has been very frustrating with unsatisfactory outcome."
