"Parksidestay is a great apartment beautifully furnished; I love coming to Melbourne and staying in Clifton Hill. Clifton Hill is a friendly and interesting suburb and close to all of Melbourne,s wonderful attractions. I have found the apartment to be very comfortable and Wendy has been very welcoming and a great host Wendy worked hard to provide accommodation that is first class and is very well informed about the local area. I recommend anyone coming to Melbourne stay at Parksidestay instead of a city hotel and if you have a dog it is great...... parklands aplenty Wendy, thanks for letting me stay at your apartment, especially as you are only letting regulars book. "Love this place! This is my third visit to Parkside Stay and as per usual it did not disappoint. My husband and our spoodle were made to feel completely at home by Wendy - who pulled out all the stops. We were provided with milk/bread, tea/coffee and flowers which was a lovely touch. We keep coming back for the location (stunning - parks everywhere for the hound to play and so close to the city). Despite being close to the city it is still very peaceful. It is a struggle to find a great place in Melbourne that is dog friendly but also feels like a home. The apartment has been beautifully decorated with furnishings, has lots of light and the bed is divine. Our dog even enjoyed play dates with Wendy's dog Zac! Taking your shoes off in the apartment is just part of what keeps it so clean so we were of course happy to oblige. Can't recommend Parkside Stay enough. We will keep coming back."

"This place is well situated but unfortunately had we read some of the reviews we wouldn't have booked, as we experienced similar issues. 1. the owner has advertised the place "to be aired", requiring windows to be opened ALL the time, (and this she will remind you constantly, as she lives upstairs and knows when you close them) but she failed to add in her instructions that windows were to stay open 24hrs. We had several cold days in Melbourne where we had to close them and ran into problems about that (phone call and text followed up from the owner almost immediately). Not sure what happens here in winter. We were more than happy to open them when we were out. 2. the bedroom window has a couple of rubber stoppers, much like the ones placed behind doors, to stop the window from closing fully. when this was pointed out she said she couldn't do anything about it. Really? There must be a health and safety implications about not being able to close one's bedroom window completely - especially in winter. 3. the place has no carpet (except the bedroom) yet she will insist on indoor shoes! the floor is polished concrete. This makes no sense whatsoever, considering the dog is not wearing any! 4. don't be surprised if she removes the rug from underneath the coffee table even though it's advertised with one. The reason, if your dog sheds fur, which most do, she will want to throw a sheet over it. if you don't like that, because vacuuming apparently is not an option, we offered to do it, she will roll it up and remove it. 5. the place is inconsistently clean, and if I was the owner, I'd be more concerned about that than ventilation. 6. she mentioned shower timing out at 3min. When asked replied that there was water restriction in Melbourne. We have family and friends in Melbourne, we didn't believe it and tested. Sure enough the hot water kept on running. We left a day earlier as we didn't feel comfortable."

"I would like to recommend ParkSide Stay as charming self contained accommodation when visiting Melbourne and especially if travelling with pets. Its proximity to spacious parklands made it an ideal location for walking our two dogs and stretching our legs as well. A colleague of mine suggested we stay there and we found it to be a comfortable oasis so close to the city. Wendy is a delightful host and a wealth of knowledge about the local area as well as the city. In fact we were spoilt by the choices for cafes and bars. The apartment is very modern, beautifully furnished, and with lovely large windows that look out to a sunny courtyard garden. Thank you for your hospitality Wendy!"

"I recently spent 5 nights at Parkside Stay with my husband and dog Max. We were both pleasantly surprised and delighted with the location and ambience of Parkside Stay as we were with Wendy's warm and welcoming manner. The modern apartment itself was beautifully maintained with lovely extra touches like fresh flowers on the table. Conveniently located to quaint little eateries, local galleries and the CBD was an added bonus. A plus for Max and I was the gorgeous parklands at our doorstop! Thank you Wendy for providing a great place to stay. We will be coming back again and this time with both two legged and four legged friends! 5 stars"
