"Wonderful hotel, beautiful comfortable rooms, great food and wine. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A 5 star experience. Will most definitely be back"
"This place is stunningly modern and beautiful but is it worth 850 a night? Up for debate. Rooms are spacious and modern, beds comfy, bathroom’s luxurious with heated floors. Complimentary Pop corn and chop tops on order, mini bar open. Food delicious and near fine dinning levels. Views stunning, outdoor pool lovely even in winter with the heated spa, the sauna is more of a warm room so a let down. Would we stay here again? No, not for the amount it costs, we don’t see the value, would we eat here again? Yes the food is worth it. 4/5 starts but only because the value proposition does not stack up for us, otherwise it’s memorable."
"All areas of the site were beautiful - the hotel rooms were sleek, modern and comfy (agree with other reviews that say the vineyard view is much nicer than the car park). The many nice touches at Jackalope include a complimentary mini bar, choc-tops and popcorn, breakfast included with the option to have it served to the room, and an 11am check-out. We had also booked essential massages, which were super relaxing… a really wonderful stay all round!"
"My wife and I love Jackalope. We stayed for our engagement 2 years ago in a suite with a huge bath and loved every second of it. We stayed again on our wedding night in the best room of the hotel - fire place and bath, huge room with kitchenette - but it was a windy night and the walls creaked and groaned all night and we barely slept. There was also a large swarm of small black insects that had gathered in the peaked ceiling above the bed which was a little disconcerting. Those are my only complaints for that stay. We ordered the most delicious breakfast in the room the next morning, all included in our stay, and it was hot and fresh and bloody good!!! The limitless popcorn, choctops and free movies was also a highlight. We’ll be back, but for $1780 it’s not likely I’ll be booking the best room in the house."
