"Got a nasty email saying I lost my bond because of smoking damage in my room. I am not a smoker. After a phone call, it turned out their housekeeper got the room number mixed up, and I got my money back. Of course, this caused a lot of damage and stress already for me before this got resolved. Really a shame, because the hotel itself and everything else was really good, and I have stayed here a few times before, but probably won't again.."

"I mean the only thing why I got them 4 stars is because I feel like all their equipment and amenities are old and are not being taken care of. Also some of their kitchen stuff has issues of either not working or in my case the washing machine is too loud and sometimes it gets me confused. Rooms are quite nice but in some parts, they didn't clean it carefully. My bed is old as well. The heater sometimes working sometimes not. The reception is nice tho. The perfect thing about this apartment is their location.. It's perfect.. Aldi is next door and walking distance to RMIT or a short tram away to Uni Melbourne. If you're only staying for a week than this apartment can be an option for you"

"We recently had a fantastic stay at Milano Apartments and will happily stay again. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment well looked after. Location is excellent for exploring all the city has to offer. Public Transport is also very close by which is a win."

"After I made the reservation I saw the comments about the place. And is definitely what everyone else said. The building is old, nothing as the photos may suggest. The cleaning is horrible (my apartment had cockroaches) and in the hallway there was a leftover of food with mould on it. The bed was uncomfortable. And it wasn’t cheap at all. The only good part is the location. Edit* on my way out there were cops in the lobby due a violent crime in one of the rooms (I have no idea what was it). But yeah, go anywhere else but here."

"Had an awesome stay. Apartments are lovely with great city view and high floor. Rooms are perfect for family and friends. We travelled from NSW and had a delayed flight at night but receptionist are very helpful and assisted us with late check in. Great location, friendly receptionist and housekeepers."
