"Lovely atmosphere, excellent service. Had the special, chicken rendang, great flavour, very disappointing though, full of cardamom pods and small chicken bones which made my meal very unpleasant to eat."
"Probably a 3.5 star. Could not fault the friendly lovely service, very welcoming, when didn't have the answer to questions came back quickly with the answers, just lovely young wait staff. The steak was well cooked to order, however a little tasteless and Hasselback potatoes not crispy. The parma was fab, as was the fish and chips, and pizza. Dropped a star due to room temperature (we were not in the main pub area, it was down a couple of stairs) - despite having a fire place, it was poorly lit and the heating in the room wasn't working so on a cold, wintery night we were all far too cold to settle and enjoy and couldn't wait to get out. Would say great atmosphere and warmth in rest of the restaurant areas."
"Had a pizza and hot chocolate. Fast, friendly service and a wonderfully rustic atmosphere. They also have pictures and artwork hung on the walls for sale. Food is pricey but well worth it!"
