"Nice friendly cosy pub."
"Best Guinness in Galway. Great staff too, lovely family."
"My experience at Hurney’s bar was what some may call “interesting”. When I first walked in there was a strong smell of vinegar. I also heard a lot of shouting coming from upstairs. I sat down on the fine seats and was greeted by a lovely young red headed man asking what I wanted. I said any snacks if you have them and a pint of Guinness. He returned moments later with 3 snack bars and a pint of Guinness. I needed to use the bathroom so I entered a room which appeared to be a restroom how ever I could not have been more wrong. I walked in to a room with a picture of a dog with some flowers around it and the words “R.I.P Coco”. Unexpectedly a DJ arrived after my 24th pint. He was playing some great bops which I was moving my body to. The only problem was he was using all the WiFi so I couldn’t use WiFi. Then suddenly he started playing despacito. I went to stand outside for a break from that curse song but I saw a little boy (about 14 or so) sitting in the dark shed surrounded by bags of peanuts. He had a where’s wally book in his hand and he was playing it while eating his peanuts. Overall Hurney’s bar is a fantastic place and I definitely recommend (Edit: Tysm for 5 likes!!!!!!)"
"You'll always find a blazing fire on a cold night and the coolest of pints on a warm day!"
"Hurney's pub needs a very needed upgrade. The seating is dirty & the quality of pints are poor."
