"Stopped in for lunch on my day-trip drive around the area. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was top drawer. Especially recommend theor amazing the seafood chowder!"
"Food was fantastic and the portions are huge. We were very pleasantly surprised when our order made it to the table. We plan to be back again to try out more dishes."
"My wife and her parents had lunch here , the food was lovely , staff were friendly and curtious. They ordered two soups and my wife gave my 11 month old son 4 spoon fulls of soup from her bowl and they charged them 3.50 on top of the price for the 2 soup as split for the 4 spoon fulls. Absolutley disgraceful. I wouldn't mind if they ordered a separate soup for my son but they did not. The bill was done by someone who we can only presume to be the owner so not a mistake by younger staff. I would advise the restaurant that they should say in future on there menu that they dont charge by the bowl but by the spoon full."
"Review of the restaurant. Charming place for an evening meal, with well sourced and cooked ingredients. Lamb burgers were top notch and the traditional Guinness beef stew was one of the best I’ve ever had."
"Very cosy small hotel (with a shared casual dining room/kitchen). Vincent and Esther are very welcoming, and the rooms are very comfortable. Located 10min walk from Connemara National Park and 15min by car from Kylemore Abbey. Ideal!"
