"Friendly, fabulous food & hospitality. 11 of us travelling the wild Atlantic way & we stayed a 2nd night…lucky to get the rooms (plus parking for 1 large motorhome!)."
"Great location in Letterfrack village. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Tasty food and craft beers served in the outdoor area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No breakfast but communal kitchen facilities are available. Would recommend."
"The experience overall has bee nice and owners kind too. The location and value of the place is unique but the rooms and are not maintained well enough. Heating is switched on only one hour a day (15 degree outside and ut was freezing in the room). Food is pricy. Coming from Dublin, I spent the same if not even more here for two burgers. Chicken wings 15.50 euro! The space out of the lodge is also nice but full of mosquitos. There is not a candle or anything is provided to fight these bugs. My partner has got more than 40 bites all over his body. At least, I was expecting the owners to be aware of the problem and to do something with it. There is no governance in the lodge. People can make as much noise as they want at any time and owners should be responsible to keep it quiet and respect everyone's peace of mind and time by making people respect the rules. Overall I would say it was a good experience but not more than ok and not better than any other place I visited or cheaper. This place is not a bargain in any sense!"
"I stayed here unexpectedly and was very pleased! Cozy, clean, nice large kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies, large breakfast area, free coffee and tea, convenient to hiking in Connemara National Park and the bus station, and only 3 km from Kylemore Abbey!"
"I highly recommand this place to go eat, the restaurant at the lodge is a hidden secret! The food at this place is one of our top 3 restaurants during our 1 month trip around Ireland. You should try the scallops, they are the best we've eaten so far"
