"Great atmosphere and excellent session of traditional music"
"Great Trad session on Saturday night starting at 9. Lovely old school Irish pub. Great people and great crac! Highly recommended."
"A great family owned pub, food music and sports, always a welcome, a little gem !"
"Quiet local bar with old world character. No food servive though, too bad. Tuesday night was "Traditional Music" night. Mostly instrumentals but all up beat and well played."
"We are English but we enjoyed true Irish hospitality - we were made very welcome by everyone and the Guinness was, truly, the best I have tasted. There was a guitarist and a drummer happily "messing about" when we arrived (about 9pm) but other musicians came along over the next hour or so and soon the bar was rocking. Fantastic 'crack'!! And then ... a poet! Two long and amusing tales, in rhyme, My Father's Old Hay Barn and The Gloves and Knickers. I don't know what the closing time was but we left with the entertainment still going strong but very happily and no rowdiness. A great evening to remember."
