Mocha Beans “Express” Station Road, Ballina, County Mayo

"Stopped at this Mocha Beans looking for a coffee but met with an employee who had a poor attitude. Myself and my two friends stopped here on our way home as we had heard good reviews however we did not experience a customer friendly environment. The lady serving coffees took our order and as she was making our coffees another customer came in I can understand she was under pressure however she took it out on us. She made our coffees and then asked were we paying together and I asked for a sausage roll, my friend then asked for one and my third friend asked for a wrap. Without saying anything she slammed the glass case open threw our food out the back to be heated and said she needed to serve the customer behind us. It felt as if serving us was a chore for her and she was unimpressed we wanted more than just the coffee. The lady behind us ordered a coconut latte she made this while our food was heating and then asked the customer to pay however she had made a coconut cappuccino the customer explained she asked for a latte and the employee proceeded to say ‘oh do you want me to scoop the chocolate off’ this shocked me as a cappuccino and a latte are drinks with two different amounts of coffee not the fact there’s chocolate sprinkled on the top of one. The whole experience was uncomfortable the employee was slamming the draws and banging the coffee utensils down, one of my friends is lactose intolerant and asked for an almond milk cappuccino she received what we thought was almond milk however was not as she had stomach cramps the remainder of the day which is brought on from drinking whole milk. Very disappointed with the customer service a shame as it is a quick and handy stop on the way home."
