Reviews
"The coffee shop is large, small variety of food but very handy for coffee stop or dessert. Much needed after a long walk in tbe Castle."
"We had light lunch here. We had soup, it was tasteless and full of salt. 1slice if bread, the bread was nice. Chips were disgusting, felt like they were boiled, then fried slightly. They were left in a big dish, then a portion was microwaved. They were inedible. Disappointed with this place as you expect the place with nuns to have good food. Food quality is a big part of the Abbeys tradition but this cafe is sadly not holding the standards."
"Food overpriced, portions are small and taste is non existent. Tables were sticky and lines were long, cherry on top was staff being rude(particularly the supervisor). Overall abysmal experience, my advice bring your own food."
"Hardly 3 stars given… scones with no jam, a flat white coffee made with skimmed milk so the foam was non existent (hello, this is Ireland!?) overall a disappointment compared to the great visit we had at the abbey."
"Great cafe at Kylesmore. Vegan options available and labeled. Fresh vegetables grown on the property when possible and all of this in the shadow of the abbey. Lunch for four which included two very hungry teenage boys was 120 euros. Date of visit was 7/12/22."
