"We've been a patrons for many years now but the night we ate was by far the best meal we've experienced. Always advisable to book ahead as it's super popular, last minute we asked to be on the cancellations list and were contacted early in the day to be abke to commit to it. The prmisis is always immaculate, homely and the staff are welcoming and friendly with top quality service each and every time. We ate from the set menu and were blown away with the quality and presentation. Each mouthful delivering flavour and succulence. I have a dietary restriction on vit k and each dish was clearly explained and it's ingredients listed out when asked. I have never not known what I've eaten there. The fillet steak was of the best quality I've had in a long time, the meat itself delivering the taste, I prefer my steak blu and it arrived as requested. While accepting the booking I made a passing comment of our wedding anniversary and were delighted with the little happy anniversary detail on our desert. It had been a tough week with work and building our new home, the dining room felt like the welcome home we didn't realise we needed. "My boyfriend and I shared a fantastic Sat evening (9th April 2022) at The Dining Room. From start to finish Vanessa and Shirley oozed professionalism and the chef cooked up a storm. I made a reference that evening that if I was on death row their food would be my last meal because it is to die for!!! Thank you for the homely hospitality, friendly atmosphere, fantastic service and of course the exquisite food. I would highly recommend and I can not wait to visit again ❤"
