"What an experience this far out west, to taste a little middle eastern. Apologies, I am very new to this type of cuisine. But the most impressive part is how tasty the vegetarian dishes are. My wife tried the no meat kebab and it tastes so "meaty" I could not believe it. Of course, there was no meat in it. But it had the texture and the juicy taste you would associate. I am still impressed and this could convert even the most true carnivore. I tried the meat chilli chips, as a side. It reminded me of a spicy taco fries and something I would eat again. Also the chicken Satay, which was moist and tender. But truly it was a bad idea, absolutely delicious but was too much and I felt stuffed afterwards. I also tried the Quesadilla which was great and so worth it. The chicken was delicious and paired well the tomato, guacamole and onion. Which was suprising as I didn't think the tomato would work in this. We also had to try the coffees. The Turkish and Arabia coffee. They were gritty, smoky, strong and came with dates and Turkish delight to smooth out the taste. It didn't taste like coffee, and not my thing, but I am glad I tried it. At a later date we tried the Palestinian kebab and the Tempura Panga fish. Both were note worth and highly recommend them. Great dishes, and have a feeling they would be over looked on a menu so easily. I definitely recommend coming here. It's tucked out the way. And you probably passed it a thousand times and never thought. But you are cheating yourself out of an experience you will never forget and probably never have this far west of Ireland."
"Amazing food and lovely staff. I ordered from the vegan menu: bread with hummus, no meat kebab with spicy chips and a salad, vegan carrot cake and fresh mint tea. With 30 euros you can have one starter, one main course, one dessert and one tea. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Castlebar"
"Nice staff. Food is so tasty and always fresh and full of flavour. Been here a few times and I will come back again! Very recommended ☺️"
"O what a gem of a place, food was top quality, atmosphere the same. Greag price too. The owner is super, we had a beautiful women serve us, she had the most gentle way about her. We with my parents they were so impressed. Got the grilled chicken with salad and sweet potato fries, with a yummy dip. The plan is to return. A special little place."
"Amazing place and nice people! Really tasty food and very generous portions. The prices are very reasonable, and even cheap comparing to Dublin. Have a good few options for everyone - kids, gluten free, dairy free, vegan and for meat lovers. For sure- place to come back!"
