"Great little store. Friendly staff !"
"A good selection of product"
"This is a lovely village, but it depends on what your looking for, it use to be a a thriving village with nearly 9 pubs a one stage, but now it's down to 2 pubs and a hotel which I don't know when it opens. There is a campervan parking area here with electricity for a charge which I don't know. Plenty of moorings for boats and really a lovely quaint village. Music is on in the pubs the odd night, so it's 5 stars for relaxing in an area which is beautiful."
"Great supermarket right beside the River Shannon in Rooskey. Popular with locals and cruiser folk alike. Prices are good, shop is clean, wide range of goods on sale and the owners and staff are very friendly. Top marks every time. We haven't been through Rooskey once that we haven't stopped in. I should also mention that they have a great deli counter and a quick word of advice... if you're heading south through the lock on a cruiser, don't buy all their white pudding as you may have a problem getting through the lock (one of the lock keepers also likes the white pudding). Ok, I jest. Great shop though and I love it to bits."
"Excellent top-up shop for boats, mini supermarket with wide range pf food and wines, beers. Fresh hot bread rolls and croissants every morning at 7.30. Very friendly staff."
