Welcome to St Gabriel's Hydrotherapy Pool, located on St Gabriel's campus in Dooradoyle, Limerick. Originally designed for children with disabilities, our hydrotherapy pool is now open to the wider community in the Mid-West region, offering evening and weekend sessions.

Our pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature of 33ºC, providing a warm and soothing environment for relaxation. The warm water helps muscles to relax, offering pain relief for muscle and joint conditions, as well as addressing muscle tone issues such as tight or weak muscles. The therapeutic properties of water also contribute to improving balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility.

For those with chronic or acute conditions like back pain and arthritis, our pool features massage jets that can assist with pain relief. We prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, with ceiling hoists in the changing rooms and a pool hoist for easy access into the water, ensuring full accessibility for wheelchair users and individuals with compromised mobility.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have introduced a new online booking app. To arrange a session, please use our new booking app or web portal, which can be found on our website. Please familiarize yourself with our Covid-19 guidelines before attending your session.

To register an account, simply follow the link provided on our website or download the Glofox app from your device's app store. Once installed, search for 'hydro' and select St. Gabriel's Hydrotherapy Pool in the Glofox search engine. Sign up, provide your personal details, and agree to the waiver to proceed.
