"Had what I thought was a broken charging port on my Huawei P30 Lite and this shop had the best presentation so I tried it. Two nice lads and one took my phone and cleaned out the port in two minutes and didn't charge me a dime. They just asked me to leave a review if I wished. A place on Lower John Street was quoting me €40 and 30 mins! Honestly this seems like the place to go in Kilkenny if you have any sort of tech issue or need a new phone. Thanks lads and I will be back in the future to possibly buy some earbuds! (Edit: My phone quick charges now which it wasn't before, holds its charge better and the cable stays in perfectly.) *EDIT 2023*: My grandmother's phone froze up and they fixed that too. Best place in town!"

"After wrestling with my phone's charging issues for months, I finally brought it in. About 12 seconds later, I was out the door with a) a now easy to recharge phone and b) new knowledge on how to fix it myself next time (without getting electrocuted or, even worse, breaking my phone). Oh, and the service was free. It was nice being in a phone repair shop where I didn't feel like the people working there would rather be like, vaping or scrolling Tik-Tok or something. At Phoenix, when I entered the door, I could immediately tell that these guys were interested in my business. It was also clear they were onto some real next-level customer service techniques, warmly saying things like "Hello " and "How can we help you?" Sarcasm aside, this type of customer-friendly attitude is important. In other phone repair shops, at best, these people merely throw your phone into a pile, to be shipped off to some other shop, where someone you've now never met performs less-than-thorough surgery on the thing that decides whether or not your day will be either manageable, or a mobile-less pre-2000s hellscape nightmare, rendering you unable to connect to, and keep up with, the outside world and prematurely catapulting you into obsolescence. (I know; phones shouldn't matter this much. They shouldn't be more important to us than, say, our children. But who are we kidding? So I only want someone tampering with the thing I truly love most (sorry kids) when that person actually cares about it, too. At Phoenix, even in just the 12 seconds I was there, it was clear that these two guys are deeply invested in their craft and in their clientele's satisfaction.)) I'll certainly be back, be it for service, or accessories. Especially for one of those dope 30,000+ mAh power banks which even Amazon won't let me buy in Ireland. Thanks guys!"
