"We love this hotel for its value for money and friendly staff and good food but we are currently sitting in our car locked out of the hotel after returning back here at 11.45pm. Will probably have to sleep in the car as there is no staff on the premises and the phone is ringing out."
"Hi John just in reply to you asking about my review of 3 stars reason was I called in with 4 other people got 4 roast beef and a pie in puff pastry served immediately without delay and beautiful by the way but only 1 bowl of veg was layed down in font of all of us . We said nothing as the last time I was there a server said to me that he'd throw in a few chips with our main courses but charged €9 extra for 3 basket of chips small"

"Fantastic service. Very friendly staff from the minute we came in the door. Barman (paul) was a pleasure to chat to and he recommended the Slaney lamb kebab which was absolutely delicious. Food was hot on arrival drinks were topped up on request nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend The Rhu Glen for food and service."
"Use to come for carvery a lot back in 2018 and was always excellent and have left a 5 star review. This evening was not what I expected. For nearly 19 euros, I am very disappointed. Staff were friendly, attentive and food was served quickly but that was it. The quality v price was not good. A few measly badly cooked chips, bit of fish and a bed of very salty mushy peas. 3 fish and chips and a glass of beer for just under 60 euros is not worth it. Sorry"
