"Absolutely lovely property, and the man who runs it too. A boyfriend and I, and 2 of our friends stayed the one night. Tom waited up for us to arrive, and he even had a double bed available for my partner and I to stay in together. Not to mention there were kittens. Definitely would stay again."

"I cannot give Tom's cottage high enough praise. Tom and the other lads staying there were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed plenty of lovely conversation. Tom gave us lots of great advice for touring around the country. The rooms were warm and clean, the beds aren't the most comfortable in the world and the frames are back little squeaky, but good enough for a solid night's rest. I was happy with the eco-friendlyness of the cottage as well. I think the single bathroom might be an issue if all the beds were booked full, but we had no problems at all. And when they recommend The Royal Oak pub down the way, you should absolutely go. It's a short walk to a small local pub filled with warm and inviting people. The bartender and a few of the locals also gave us some good tourist recommendations and we had some good laughs. The walk to the pub is beautiful on a clear night, you can see so many stars. If you have the opportunity to stay at Tom's, do, you won't regret it for the cultural experience. Staying at Tom's feels like staying with a friend or cousin, very homey. Plus there are several friendly cats to greet you outside of the cottage!"

"Absolutely fantastic!! I spent my last holidays there in Ireland and I would recommend to everybody to stay there, I stayed there with my girlfriend for two nights from Tuesday to Thursday and we were really happy, Tom is a really nice guy he told us lot of things of Irish history and on Wednesday he came with us to the village's pub were they play lovely music every Wednesday. The hostel was very clean and comfortable we slept very well, the services of the hostel were nice and the atmosphere couldn't be better I really recommend this place even if you want just to stay one night and my advice is if you have the chance go there on Wednesday it's really cool!"

"This was one of the best hostels that I've stayed in. Tom is friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful. It's closer to a B&B than a hostel. Tom makes it a point to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of his guests. I would recommend this hostel to anyone."
