"Let me start by saying that the host was amazing. We arrived rather late and we’re looking for something to eat and he arranged a reservation at a local restaurant at the last minute. That being said I am rather surprised at the comments regarding comfortable and clean. Our room was very dated, the bed was so old we could see the springs through the bedding, the sheets pillows and blankets were very old, and pilled. We ended up taking the bedding from the small bed in the room and putting it on the bed so that we could at least sleep. Luckily, we were only there for one night. The breakfast the next morning was fine, no complaints, however our hostess didn’t even acknowledge us or ask how we slept. The location was close to the little town of Bunratty so that would certainly be a benefit, but my husband‘s back has been in spasms since sleeping in the old bed. I would strongly recommend that they invested in new mattresses at the very least."
"My partner and I arrived late, the hosts were amazing. The breakfast amazing. But the bed was not only outdated, it also left me with back pain I havent felt in years. You could see the wires through the sheets. I put 3 comforters down and still didn't help. My back pain is still hindering my vacation."
"Hostess Mel made use feel very welcome. Great breakfast. Room clean with very comfortable bed."
"The host was really kind and professional. She even offered to take us to and fro the nearby bus stop. I really enjoyed the conversations with her. The breakfast was perfect and the area is a very peaceful one. Two things to remember are- 1. They take payment only in cash, 2. The location is on the countryside with no pedestrian pathway and street lights at night. The cab from Limerick would take about 35-37 Eur."
"Lovely place. Very welcoming hosts! Tasty Irish breakfast with lots of options. Nice view of the countryside right outside the window. Many great attractions in different directions within driving distance."
