"Located in the centre of Ballyvaughan with private secure parking, the cottages are well maintained and very large, and have absolutely everything needed for family self catering. Great location to see the Burren, the famous Dolmen is about 15 minutes drive, as is allowea caves. Would definitely recommend."
"Just returned from 5 days staying in the above cottages (No4) - we paid β¬850 for the five days. My husband and I enjoyed our trip exploring the wonderful sights of this most beautiful County. In relation to the above cottages, sadly we were very disappointed with our accommodation. For the price paid we were expecting a high standard which appeared to be the case reflected in the photos .. but was not what we found. The furniture in the lounge was dated, worn and not clean. The couch fabric reminded me of a period from my childhood and the cushions throughout were fit for the bin. I was reluctant to eat off the d/room table which was scratched and worn, the table matts were not clean. The family bathroom shower was not up to standard and when I turned on the shower black pieces of dirt ran from the lower tiles. The bathroom mirror was corroded with rust and at night there were a lot of black creeping on the floor. Towels supplied were also much used !! The quality of bed linen was also below standard and the duvet cover was worn and had no fastening at the end. This bedroom was well below the standard expected with a miss mash of color. We think that if you ask people to pay β¬170 per night for accommodation, is it not reasonable to expect the same quality & standard of service in return ? Feel we were ripped off on this occasion. ps. The quality & service we received in all restaurants throughout our stay was of a very high standard thankfully."
