"Good location for exploring Clare, great views, quiet road. Cottage was fine inside, clean, brand new fridge, dishwasher, cooker. Beds were comfortable enough. A bit shabby on the outside though, the thatch needs to be replaced on all the cottages. Thick walls, small windows and no sun meant that most of the time it was warmer outside than inside! The heating didn't work adequately, so we were cold in the evenings (my daughter never took her jacket off, hubby and I had blankets on our laps). Left a day early for that reason. Only met Mary once, on the second evening, as we had no sharp knives and she had to bring one down."
"Dated, dusty, grubby and basic. I had to sweep the floors before I unpacked. No welcome pack or info folder. Bedlinen was new, clean and all white which was lovely. Mary was lovely also. She even gave me a hoover and extra dishcloths when I complained. Won't be returning."
"Mary...what to say? Always available and regularly checking in and recommending..an absolute treasure. Added a lovely level I wasn't expecting to my break. A great setting for a "get away from it all break""
"Wonderful place to visit or even stay."
"Have stayed here every year since 2009. Awesome place. Rural quite and VERY Irish!!"
