"Nice hotel close to the main street. Very nice staff and great breakfast. The room I had had a refurbished bathroom with nice shower"
"Lovely rooms. Very comfortable bed. Had a great breakfast both mornings and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. . I have just started coach driving around Ireland and when I'm in lahinch I will definitely be staying here again. Highley recommend it"
"Rooms are newly decorated, nice bed, shower was nice and clean. Reception very dated and breakfast huge let down. Even found a curly hair in my breakfast, I reported it to who looked like a manager and all he said was "I have no idea where it came from" and he was sorry. Sorry is not good enough when you find a curly hair in your breakfast, but a refund on my breakfast would be more like it!"
"West Cork Weekends decided to go on a bit of a road trip this summer to visit some of our popular neighbours we hadn't seen in awhile or gad heard so much about but yet to meet. After the Guinness factory in Dublin the Cliffs of Mohr in Clare are the number two attraction in Ireland. We decided it was time we checked it out ourselves and we were not disappointed. Put it on your list the cliffs are beyond words and worth walking every Inch, bring your right shoes and a good camera. Our adventure being a last minute road trip we were without a roof over our head during a busy summer tourist time. Dragging out tired bodies back to the cool Surf town of Lahinch we went looking for a bed. Long story short everything was booked and it was getting late, a nice Barman sent us to the Sancta Maria or head back inland or sleep in the car. So heading into the Sancta Maria fingers crossed we got a room and at very reasonable price. The room was clean and fresh, comfortable and the entire hotel had a seaside nostalgia to it without the mustiness. The owner/manger at the front was great to us and took his time to show us on a map what we had to see and how to get there. All our questions were answered and gave us plenty of time to check out. We missed breakfast but we were certainly offered up the opportunity to have a bite to eat. Its exactly what you want in place when travelling - clean, friendly, affordable, close to town and full of character. We cant wait to come back to Lahinch and we know exactly where to stay."
