"I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our amazing trip to Doolin was made that much better by staying at the Sea View House. The home was beautifully appointed. We are a family of seven and it was perfect, we had room to spread out and room to gather. And you couldn't have asked for a better location, or better views. . .it was like looking at a postcard. We walked everywhere and drove to many key attractions. Darra anticipated our needs, helped make reservations and provided us with great suggestions. My only advice would be to stay for a while (at least longer than 2.5 days), Doolin and Darra are a terrific combination and have a lot to offer. I have only one word for our stay. . .superb."

"This place exceeded my expectations. Everything was beautifully updated and very clean. I was so surprised that when we looked out the window there were two beautiful white horses next door. We worked with Niall during our booking and stay and he was extremely informative and super helpful. His wife even made us fresh bread which was super welcoming and thoughtful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was perfect, just a few minutes of a walk into town and secluded enough to have privacy in the backyard and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here. If we come back to Doolin, which I hope that we do, we will definitely be staying here again!"

"We just spent two nights at the Sea View house and although it’s beautiful, I wish we stayed elsewhere. The house is beautifully decorated and the hot tub was amazing. However, keep in mind this is in farm country and you will find pests. We found a live mouse in our bedroom the first night and spent 2 hours trying to catch and release it. It eventually disappeared into the walls. She accommodated and moved us to another lodge. However we found a giant spider in the bedroom of the second lodge. For such high rates for renting the lodges, I was surprised that they lack a reputable pest control to service the lodges. That is my only negative. The host was very thoughtful and provided us great information for touring the Burren and other activities during our stay. The warming rack for the towels in the bathroom was a nice touch. And the views from the hot tub were beautiful."

"This review is long overdue, but worth the wait! We stayed at Fisherstreet Lodge for 5 days in September of 2022 before going to Munich for Oktoberfest. Niall and Darra were amazing hosts! I can’t say enough positive things about them and the way that they answered every single question we had (which was a lot), offered suggestions, and truly just took us in and guided us to an amazing trip of a lifetime. The home was very spacious and comfortable- albeit no AC is odd for a Texas native, it was nice to open the windows and get a nice breeze in the evening! We opted for the breakfast package each morning which was freshly made by Darra with local ingredients. The menu didn’t change each morning but we didn’t mind because the food was outstanding! Darra delivered it each morning at an agreed upon time which was very convenient. The views from this house were so beautiful and serene. We were walking distance to all restaurants and pubs which was wonderful! Be sure to ask Darra for local recs- she did not disappoint on food/restaurant recommendations! We would stay here again and again if we were to ever come back to Ireland. I speak for everyone in our group when I say that I honestly consider Darra and Niall friends."

"Fisher Street Lodge was the ideal point of departure for our windswept hike along the Cliffs of Mohr from Doolin to the Visitors Center. It is a beautifully remodeled family home with every amenity you could want. The setting is breathtakingly picturesque and Darra and Niall were the perfect hosts. I wish we could have stayed longer!"
