"Impressive showroom no doubt. It houses some of the most wonderful automobiles in the Audi range. As you enter there is an RS model with 450bhp. Nice! Too rich unfortunately for my blood so I pottered about a bit with a genuine interest in purchasing a less expensive Audi model. I looked at the selection and pottered about some more , curious as to why in an empty showroom not one sales person came to ask if I needed any help. I went there with my friend and she was also in the market for a new car; and yet no salesperson approached her either... in an empty showroom... were we wearing the "wrong" clothes? Did we forget our designer labels? I went after some 20 minutes of browsing and asked a salesman a question and had the most unusual reaction I'd ever encountered when purchasing a car... he didn't raise his head and I then assumed he might have been on the phone... perhaps the receiver was nestled in his shoulder and I'd interrupted a call he was on... not so! "Pardon me", I said, "I seem to have interrupted your call". "No", he answered looking at me as one might look as your favourite soccer player after missing an open goal to take your team into the world cup final... "Could I see a list of used cars please?" I ventured further. Without a word I was handed a photocopy listing at least a hundred used cars. "That's it?" I wondered, "you're not going to tell me where they are, or ask if I had any car in mind, or whether I need any assistance?". I felt this was truly bizarre "customer service" and a unique sales approach where clearly if I didn't "smell" of the right type of currency I was not worth the effort. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the salesperson, perhaps it was the night after the Christmas party, who knows? My friend was also just confounded as to why nobody even said hello or indicated any inclination to help, and she parked outside in a car that showed she could afford the prices... I did look at the other reviews and it seems I'm not the only one who felt like this after a trip to this Audi sales room. I remember the time when one couldn't give an Audi away, but now Audi is a great car brand and the company has reinvented itself as one of the most iconic brands of all time delivering seriously hugh performance and power. However I would still urge anyone to look at the reviews here an then make up your mind."
