"DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF THIS ORGANISATION. The worst customer service/client care imaginable. I had a cosmetic procedure done there to combat redness on my face, and break-outs in my moustache area in October 2021. Not only did they leave me with the shape of the machine head on multiple parts of my face for weeks, they also impacted my facial hair growth (even though I specifically asked would it impact that and was told no. I've always had heavy stubble, or a beard, and never clean shaved, so to be without it has been traumatic). I appreciate fully the desired outcome may not always be achieved with cosmetic treatments. But what happened to me should never have happened, so I made an official complaint. They asked me to wait 6 months, then a year, to see would it grow back as before. They asked me to meet with the Head Dermatologist in the Bons Hospital twice (she agreed that I have been left with areas of no facial hair growth. I met her most recently on January 10th 2023). They then (March 2023) ridiculously, asked me to make contact with Venus Concept, the provider of the machine (even though my contract for service was with the CHRC, and not Venus Concept) - all which I did, and now when I call for an update on the progress of my complaint, they don't answer my call, nor do they call me back. I have definitely called more than ten times over the last few weeks, and left voice messages. Their policy is clearly to ignore me. Very disappointed with how I have been treated, particularly by Nicole McEllistrim (patient liason in the CHRC) and Breda McEllistrim (complaints officer in the Bons) and Sarah Hickey (Regional Director at Venus Concept). And yes, I'm aware of the irony of going to a Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic for a Cosmetic treatment, only to leave with less hair. I will however say that Dr Noirin Ni Scanlain, Head Dermatologist at the Bons (no affiliation with the CHRC) has been kind and understanding and professional, and I have no issue with her."
