"All three doctors have been absolutely fantastic to both my parents and I down through the years. They have gone above and beyond for all of us providing the highest level of care . Reception staff are so friendly and welcoming , its is a very comfortable setting."

"*Posting on behalf of family member, this occurred before any lockdown : After months of my family members symptoms being dismissed as “stress”, causing their condition to worsen, they were finally prescribed an inappropriate medication which was more or less a placebo tablet with damaging effects. The trainee GP was absolutely lovely but there just seems to be this norm here of brushing off patients concerns. The snarky and callous attitudes of a certain receptionist and female doctor in the practice leaves much to be desired. Not a smile given or a how are you or anything. We don’t speak up or cause a fuss, I know receptionists and doctors deal with enough abuse as it is. But here it honestly feels like they couldn’t care less about patients, that we are just an annoyance to them even though it’s their job to deal with people. I hate to be THAT person but we are the ones paying their bills. It takes absolutely nothing to be kind and not dismissive. Why go into a job environment knowing it doesn’t suit you as a person? It completely turned my family members off from seeking medical attention. If someone is dealing with mental health concerns, especially during this pandemic, and they go to a GP for help and yet the receptionist and/or GP makes them feel like a burden? That could be their breaking point. A simple smile or caring attitude makes all the difference. I don’t recommend this medical centre and even though it would be easier to stay, given the short distance, I will be looking into moving my family member to another GP in the New Year."

"I must say Ardfert Medical Centre is a great practice. You are never waiting too long and I must say the staff are fantastic. Always willing to help. With Ardfert Medical centre a few years now and I am so happy we moved to them as they always go over and above to help anybody out."
