"Recently had carpets installed by this shop, the job was substandard, gripper spikes on stairs were poking through, pinching anyone who walked on the stairs without shoes, no tacks on stair riser to pull step edge tight over the (nose) of the step just sprayed with bottle after bottle of adhesive to stick the carpet to the steps of the stairs, just lazy and unprofessional. Loads of glue around the new laminate floor at the bottom of the staircase, nightmare to remove. Carpet puffy and bubbly in places too. Had to go around myself blunting the gripper spikes with a hammer so no one would end up drawing blood at some stage, tried tacking in the carpet under the stair nose myself to get the tight shaped profile of the step nose, got it pretty close. But that should not need to be tidied up by the customer. After stumping up nearly 1000e for carpet and fitting, all I can say is steer clear, get a professional outfit if you want a proper professional job done, I thought this would be that as they seemed very nice and professional in store when accepting our money but then sent out a cowboy who really should not be anywhere near carpet installations. Pity as we had high hopes after picking out a really nice carpet too. Wont be back for any other purchase that we need. Will be going elsewhere with that money."
