"The fish was so fresh that I wouldn't be surprised if it was caught while we ordered our meals. Excellent soups/chowders and the seafood platter had everything we wanted. Seemed like a typical tour bus stop so try to get in before the lunch crowd!"
"Friendly quick service despite large crowd. Drinks are served cold and prompt. Seafood chowder was a bit odd as others have mentioned, not on same level as other restaurants. Still a 5/5 place for the atmosphere here on a Saturday night. Not a music pub, no proper speakers present. For entertainment besides Sports TV you may need to go elsewhere."
"We had a great experience at Fisherman’s after seeing the Kerry Cliffs. I have had a lot of fried fish in my life, but the fish here was the best I’ve ever had. It was breaded perfectly and was very thick. A great experience, would highly recommend this place!"
"An intimate bar, with very friendly patrons. Beautiful setting. There is a beer garden outfront right on the harbour woods fairy lights to set a beautiful scene. There was no live music on the night that we were there, but there was plenty of singing and overall a very good humoured place. Trying to local Gin is the most single gin among the best"
"Amazing food - we had the fish platter to share and the chowder starter. Both absolutely delicious. (We didn’t need the chowder as the platter was plenty for two!) Sat outside with the dog in the sheltered area. I don’t normally take photos of my food but this was so delicious! Great service too and I liked that the bar was still traditional and not done up to be trendy."
