"Attended a wedding here recently and everything from atmosphere, food and service was top notch. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The venue itself is beautiful especially seeing it transformed from ceremony to reception area. Will hopefully be back to try the restaurant in the not too distant future!"
"Great food, great staff and a beautiful old church makes for an amazing evening here."
"So many good things to say about 10 Bridge Street! The team and the venue were incredible in every way. Living in Australia and not having been back home due to Covid for 4 years we had to plan our wedding from overseas. We could not have been luckier with having Katie to help us organise so much, from initial advice all the way through to coordinating our other suppliers it made everything so relaxing. During our wedding day, Katie was never far away to make sure everything was running smoothly. The venue is just so special and the food was incredible, (not just because it was our wedding) it has to be some of the best food I've ever eaten at a wedding. All of our guests with dietary requirements were so carefully and thoughtfully looked after and spoke so highly of their meals afterwards too. The way the team transformed the venue from ceremony space to dining room to dancing floor was so seamless and proved no disruption to the proceedings. The staff were all fantastic and made sure everyone was taken care of, our guests have not stopped telling us how much they enjoyed the day. The team should be very proud of what they have created at 10 Bridge Street, a truly unique and blissful wedding venue and experience. If you want to have cherished memories of your special day then look no further than 10 Bridge Street!"
"The place is unforgettable, great design, elegant. We enjoyed very much the food and the friendliness of the staff."
"From start to finish the meal was outstanding and staff couldn't do more to look after you and make you feel welcome. Set in a beautifully refurbished 200+ church with stained glass windows, it takes your breath away as you walk in. Starters were delicious, I could have happily eaten a huge plate of the mixed croquettes alone, but the sweet peppers stuffed with cod and hake starter had a sauce that we had to ask for a bread basket to mop it all up. Mains were chicken cadiz and the beef cheek. Chicken luxuriously coated in gratinated gouda and toasted almonds, and beef that was so tender you could eat it with a spoon. The chicken dish doesn't come with its own vegetables or accompaniments which is a shame, but there are plenty of options to choose and add to it. Had a very well made and delicious buttermilk panna cotta to finish along with a lemon polenta cake which was slightly overcooked and dry, but still quite nice. We finished our evening by moving outside with a tasty jug of fresh sangria and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor terrace that Sol y Sombra has to offer. Very reasonably priced overall and well worth booking in advance as this place is busy! Thank you very much for such a lovely evening. Your reputation is well deserved."
