"To whoever does the baking, they are exceptional! The brown cake (soda bread) is really top notch as well as the baking of the desserts in particular the Swiss chocolate cake is really top notch and not something you get everyday. We were here for lunch and it is largely salads but to describe it as that would be a disservice, the scallop salad was mouthwatering and the chicken tandoori salad was exceptional. They do simple food with quality ingredients to the highest quality. Really great service, a lovely setting, a hidden gem of Baltimore really. You will not regret coming here plus the table next to a said the rooms were fantastic"

"Just back from Rolfs after struggling to find a decent restaurant in Baltimore. The food, service and atmosphere at Rolfs is fantastic. We had 2 small kids with us and the staff made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend the Venison. If I come back to Baltimore I’ll definitely be eating at Rolfs again. "We did not stay at Rolfs, but had dinner at the restaurant. The menu was wide and the food delicious, and often made with a local produce. My main was one of the best steaks I have had, and the venison was amazing too (we chose not to eat fish as the local boats had not been getting out with the stormy season). Dessert was suitably indulgent, and they had a wide and fun selection of wines, gins and whiskeys, which we may have sampled a little much of. This is an upscale, reasonably expensive and romantic venue - I would check before bringing small children to the dinner setting."
