"Amazing food, the beef short rib was out of this world!!! Everyone enjoyed their meal, portions were big and so was my belly when we left. Great service too!"
"First time trying fish and chips that isn't too greasy and/or dry! Mussels and fish could not have been more fresh. Good value for money. Very good service."
"Four of us had dinner here while staying locally on 5th October. Our vaccine passes were correctly For a change, the seafood chowder did not contain cream or shellfish. So two of us chose it as a starter. It was served with two kinds of brownbread, one homemade and one a more processed type. The chowder was very tasty although neither of us liked the amount of potato it contained. The other two ordered local mussels (Roaring Water mussels) - the portion was very generous and the sauce in which they were served, was very tasty. The chosen maines were 1 sirloin steak, 2 fish and chips and one fish of the day (cod) the steak was cooked perfectly. The fish and chips went down very well although apparently the chips could have been crisper. The fish of the day was a good sized piece of cod but it was not well seasoned, so quite boring. The masj and veg which were served with it were spot on - the mash creamy and a nice bite to the veg. Drinks were 3 pints of cider, 3 pints of a local special called Roaring Ruby, a glass of Malbec and tea. The total bill was €167.00 for four two course meals plus drinks."
"Ambiance is great. Food is okay. The mussels were pretty salty. Roast beef was fine."
"Lovely place. Views amazing. The staff were great, pleasant and friendly. I had monkfish with mussel sauce, served with salad and chips. It gets 5*, delicious. My companion had the roast beef, served with vegetables and mashed potato. He really enjoyed it and gives it 4*. Dessert did not go so well. Chocolate fondant for me. Beautifully presented but more cake than fondant. Cheesecake for my companion, again, beautifully presented but lacking in flavour. They do a 4 beer taster platter for €4. We really enjoyed that. All beers are brewed in their own brewery. Very much enjoyed the evening and would go back. Recommended"
