"This was an unexpected and lovely stop on our way between Oughterard and Killarney. Popped in for lunch on Sunday and had a really high level of fine dining service and excellent food. Started with a complimentary amuse from the Chef and then had the chicken curry. All incredibly flavorful and with just the right level of attentiveness. Was an excellent place!"
"Very nice, cosy eatery with a corner view in Newcastle West. Kind of like an old country home with the woodwork. Small dining area and restrooms ( very clean ) upstairs. Had the morel burger and chips - nice. Vegetarian mushroom fennel soup was creamy and delish. Cappuccino was.nice also. Very good , friendly service."
"Absolutely amazing little restaurant. We went for dinner on Saturday night. The lady at the door greeted us and asked for our covid passport and 1 form of ID. Not many places are doing that at the moment, it was a nice piece of mind to know everyone in the restaurant was vaccinated! The food was absolutely fabulous! Everything was so nice and fresh! We had the Christmas menu! And it did not disappoint. Even the sorbet in between meals was stunning! A 10 percent service charge gets added to your bill at the end of it all and I have to say the staff inside there have earned it. The were so polite and friendly, made sure everyone stay seated at their tables, no mixing allowed, but also the speed and efficency on which they had our tables cleared and our next course brought out was something else!! Very professional!! And very impressive! Would highly recommend its a beautiful spot for a nice quiet dinner away!! Will definitely be back!!"
"Located on the corner of Bridge St near the town square, quite unpreposing from the outside. The decor inside was a bit dated, however the food was spot on! Lovely pear & blue cheese salad, well balanced flavours & textures, just the right amount for an appetizer. Rack of lamb was excellent - cooked as requested and a great flavour. Again, a nicely balance plate that was well presented. Restaurant was busy, good sign, but the staff were a bit rushed of their feet, sign of a busy restaurant! Definitely worth a try."
