The Killumney Inn , Ovens, County Cork P31 K376

"I came across this Inn in passing, a bit off the main routes but not isolated I was surprised that it is so popular, but on seeing the menu and the choice they were offering was quite surprising and difficult to make a choice. I had fish and my wife had roast beef, both were were cooked to perfection as were the vegetables that were served with it The service could not be be improved one iota and the staff were so frofesional and friendly. Value for money 10 out 10 Plenty of off road free parking I will definitely be dining there again."

"Smashing Grub. Came form the ziplines in Farran absolutely starving. I mistakenly went into the bar and asked if they could seat 4 adults and 5 children at 17:31. If I was him I'd have told me to f off!, Or at least to go to the restaurant and ask! He came back 3 minutes later and told me to head up, they had the large table set up for us ready to go. Fair play! Food was excellent, everyone polished their plates. Great selection and everyone left full as a wheel. Only slight feedback was the crumble was a little doughy and not very crumbly! Staff were great, nice quiet restaurant, had no idea the place was there but will be back when we return to Farran."
