"Went for lunch here after having a relatively pleasant food experience 6 weeks ago. We were told that they weren't serving for 15 mins which we were fine with. We ordered and I got a vegetarian salad, we were told 10 minutes later that we were given the wrong menu. I had to change my order to a different salad that was marked vegetarian and it came out 20 minutes later completely different to the menu and covered in parmasan which is not suitable for vegetarians. It was missing ingredients from the menu and had other ingredients instead. The manager Liam stated that there was a new menu that the chef was playing around with that was "gone to print". When I questioned was the menu we ordered off the correct one, he said yes but the other one was gone to print and that it had only changed 2 weeks ago even though we were here 6ish weeks ago and the menu was the same. He offered no apology whatsoever and was very defensive of the kitchen. I tried to explain to him that you can't put random things into a dish completely different from the menu due to allergies etc and i got a blank stare from him. I sent the dish back and sat with nothing while my partner ate. When we went to pay my salad was still charged for and I had to explain that I sent it back. We repeatedly try to give this place a chance as its local but we always regret it. Avoid if you suffer from any allergies as they do not care. The manager could have apologised and stated that it was just a mistake but all we got were excuses and an arrogant attitude. There was also someone else's lipstick on my water glass to top it all off."
"The food was good, but very small portions and they charge way too much for that. I was staying at the hotel, so tried both breakfast and lite bites. Needs to improve the portion size."
"Extremely bad service, starting from when you arrive!!! It took 20 minutes for a staff member to notice we were standing at the doors waiting to be seated, then 15 minutes do get the Menu and finally we gave up after being ghosted by the members…. We are beyond dissatisfied and disappointed with the unprepared staff. A family with a 4 year old had to go to Another place once we couldn’t get anything from them. Never again and suggesting my friends not to go as well."
"The reviews highlighting the fact that staff stand with their back to the customers are correct and its surprising that this issue still exists considering how many reviews there are. We received, without a doubt, the coldest welcome we have received in any establishment. In fact,we were going to leave but were then ushered towards a table. The food was lovely and this is why it gets three stars. The place was empty but the Maitre D insisted on filling all the tables around us as opposed to spreading the diners throughout the restaurant. There were lots of waiters but only one actually doing anything. As a result, we waited a long time before we could order a second round of soft drinks and desert. Has potential but won't be back for a while."
