"Great house in a fantastic location"
"All we needed for overnight was grand. Just one thing, the bed , not much support for a person's back, too soft, a change of mattress is required here on top floor."
"Unfortunately the accommodation is on 3 levels. It should be pointed out that the property is unsuitable for guests with mobility problems. Bathroom on lower ground floor. Mattresses are very soft and bed linen could do with being upgraded. Primark bed linen scratchy. Cleanliness very good. Welcome pack (milk etc) would have been appreciated."
"This is a lovely house. However I recently stayed with my husband and daughter and the central heating did not work for the whole time we were there (3 nights). The host provided some small heaters on the second day but their attempts at fixing the problem only filled the house with oil fumes. On a cold weekend in early February this meant we were unable to use the property as planned ie for self catering, and had to spend most of the time outside the property and sleeping with the smell of fumes was very unpleasant. Surprisingly the host would not negotiate any degree of refund and for this reason we could not recommend this host and would not stay again. It is a shame because the property is very nice, on the whole, but overall it was a very disappointing experience."
"Wonderful stay last summer. House was immaculate and met all COVID-19 guidelines. House host was very welcoming and kind to us. Would stay there again"
