"Loved this hotel! Fabulous room, impeccable service. We had a spacious room that overlooked the harbor. The pub restaurant on the entry level floor is very nice, and the more formal restaurant on the upper level was Fabulous! There are also private lounges and bar exclusive for hitel guests. Plenty of parking. It's a nice walk into town. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it!"
"1st Book a harbour room, you do see the car park, but the harbour, sail boats, sun rise across the bay in the morning is stunning. The room was excellent, extremely comfortable, clean and very well equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Bathroom excellent, the power shower is totally amazing. Breakfast, excellent selection, both hot and cold, service again outstanding. The wharf bar has a fabulous atmosphere and menu, which is back up by a very helpful and friendly team. Yes I would book again, totally enjoyable."
"Stayed here just a few days ago.. had booked a double Harbour View room but when we arrived they had upgraded us to a suite... Such a lovely surprise.. The room was beautiful.. especially the bathroom... Staff are just so friendly and efficient... My only gripe would be that the bed had two single mattresses zipped together and you could really feel the zip when in bed... My other small gripe would be that there is no Information Leaflet/book giving details on time of breakfast, how to operate the heating system.. etc... Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay here again... The decor is beautiful..."
"Fantastic location on Kinsale harbour - great to watch the working ships unloading out of your window. Easy walk to all the bars and restaurants Kinsale has to offer. The breakfast was very good, with lots of options. Staff all very friendly and looked after us well. Great to have a residents bar and quieter lounge as well as the main bar downstairs. Room was clean and spacious. We'll be back next time we're in Kinsale."
"We checked in at 6pm and got the last room available. Room 126, which is not a comfortable room. It looked onto the road and had the air conditioning unit just a couple feet from our window. The air conditioning unit was very noisy through the night and it was also smelly. To add to the noise was the traffic on the road and car park. The location of this room on the lower level meant we had no privacy from people walking along the road and in the car park. It was too hot in the room even though there was no heaters turned on and you could only open the window a crack. We had a very bad nights sleep and had a wedding the next day and was planning on staying a second night but decided against it. The breakfast room has a beautiful view but for a 4 star hotel the cooked food was not up to scratch. The coffee was nice along with the fruit. The saving grace is the staff who are very kind and helpful. If we had gotten a different room our stay may have been completely different. But room 126 would be better off as a laundry room. Or at least put a shear curtain on the window and have a look at upgrading the air conditioning unit. We paid €185 for one night."
