"Room has a bad odor. Room is clean but old. Couldn’t get coffee maker in room to work. Lobby be restaurant are nice. Service was slow. some of us got our meal after everyone else were finished. And it was Mac and cheese. Would not recommend."

"Great location and beautiful big bedroom. Staff were very friendly and I was happy to stay here. Right on the main street so parking is a bit tricky but found some in the parking lot across from the house. Plenty of food at breakfast. Would stay here again as I thought it was good value. My only complaint would be the pillows, not the best"

"Thanks to all in the lovely Blue Haven for a fantastic stay. We were upgraded without asking as we were celebrating a birthday. Staff so friendly and helpful from reception, to bar and breakfast server's. Lovely homely but stylish hotel. Rooms spotless and full of character Great location."

"Wasn't my first time staying at this hotel, my last experience was far superior than this one..hotel must be struggling as it was grubby, not maintained as it was...booked a double room, it was 2 singles shoved together with a double duvet and mattresses were so soft you'd roll to the centre which led to a very unpleasant sleep...staining on the walls, you wouldn't find ina hostel....step up into bathroom that's not highlighted, my husband and I nearly fell multiple times. Went to the hotel bar for last call and was told it was our last drink. Suspicious activity in the bar gave an uncomfortable atmosphere so was happy to retire after the one in any case. Receptionist is a nice welcoming lady but unfortunately we won't be returning."

"Beautiful restaurant. Great location, food and wine is good. Outdoor seating area. The road at the front can get quite busy but still lovely on a sunny day."
