"Firstly, and maybe most importantly, the staff here are brilliant. The restaurant & cleaning staff couldn't be more accommodating. The rooms are spacious and very, very clean. The location is fantastic. On the waterfront and just far enough away (200 metres) from the pubs. Kinsale is a lovely place to visit in itself. Loads of things to do locally and within easy reach of Cork City & SW County Cork. Definitely worth a visit. Excellent value for money."
"Stayed here for 3 nights, it's an excellent hotel! Great location to explore Kinsale. The food was delicious and there was a brilliant range of breakfasts each morning. The staff were always very friendly and service was slick and professional, nothing was too much bother. The room was a good size with a nice view towards the water. Clean and comfy, the only negative would be that the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned on day two, but fresh towels/products were supplied. I would absolutely recommend Actons and would stay here again."
"10/10 . The hotel is very central, the rooms are spotless & the staff couldn’t do enough for us. I stayed with a group of girls for a hen party & between breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks the staff were efficient, friendly & definitely the best service I’ve had in a long time. Thank you so much to the cleaners, receptionists, waiting & bar staff … ye are all doing such an amazing job ! The whole hen crew agreed that the service was exceptional."
"Had a great experience here last weekend dropped in for a bite. Had a lovely meal great choice including veg and vegan options. Shared seafood chowder starter curry and fish and chips mains shared cheesecake dessert. Food was excellent and freshly cooked v generous portions staff couldn't have been more helpful and exuded friendliness and team spirit such a pleasurable experience will definitely return soon. "Every single aspect of our stay was perfect. From being greeted on arrival, a warm immaculate room, with more amenities than I expected. Service in the bar for our 2 evening meals was superb and breakfast was spot on, not once was any negativity expressed if we asked for something. Totally excellent service from very friendly staff."
