"The hotel itself was amazing. Beautiful grounds and really friendly staff. We brought our 4 year old girl along and from the minute we walked in the door they made her feel as important as us. They gave her a colouring pack and a Teddy bear on arrival, which was a lovely touch!. I haven't seen service as good as this in Ireland ever so will definitely be back for another visit. 5 stars (more if I could)"
"The coziest place on earth! My wife and I were here for our first wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for anything better than this place! The staff made sure our stay was extra special by providing us a complementary bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate our anniversary. This resort boasts a huge property and there’s just so much to do that we did not even realize how time went by! The weather was not really on our side but, the hotel buildings and restaurants being interconnected made travel from one end of the resort building where we were staying to the other end very much comfortable. They made sure to make the inside of the building immaculate, artsy and full of history that your walks inside the building are also worth remembering. Every corner so well done and cozy that you don’t want to go outside. The Christmas decorations were like a cherry on cake. The staff here is very attentive and all your needs, wants and requests will be full filled in a timely manner. The rooms are very modern and comfortable with great views of the property! We especially loved the bathrooms here! Thank you Castlemartyr Resort and the team here for making our special day, extra special!"
"Mixed - 3.5 stars. Enjoyable stay overall and plenty to see and do in the local area. Room, staff and grounds were excellent. Dinner was also good. Pool facilities and changing rooms need upgrading. Seating layout wasn't optimal for dinner and breakfast was average (lacking choice of fresh breads, granola, berries)."
