"The owners were very welcoming and kind to us during our stay. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious. 5 stars and very deserved."
"Noisy at street side rooms, beds mattresses same as we start to staying here 15 years ago, only good thing you can get here single room for affordable price in cork. Car parking on the street is ok, normally u can find where to park with ease. 5 mins walk to shops and restaurants."
"Firstly, the owner is the nicest woman you will ever meet! Was so accommodating, kind and funny. We actually booked to stay at Clon Ross, and upon arrival was told we would be staying at Oaklands instead which is a 1 min walk up the road. The house was very old, but very homely. Our room was small but enough for us. The shower was a decent size, but the door to get into it is very small. The bathroom was not the nicest, there was mould spotting on the walls and ceilings, the toilet seat was broken and the hand soap bottle was a M&S one that was reused many times so had mould in it. But this did not put a downer in our stay! Also there was only 1 plug socket we could find to use. This is a nice place to stay, close to town and the best governess you will find!"
"Oaklands B&B is a good place to stay. Ellen and husband are lovely people and so is the staff. The room is clean and everything that you need is present. Shower is easy to use and clean. The bed sleeps well. The house is on walking distance from the center. Also close to buses for center and railway station. The price is low and the service ok. Good breakfast. It is ok to go there."
