"Very, very impressed with this hotel. Booked this based on a “good deal” and location according to an online search. Not only is it a unique and vibrant atmosphere but what I loved most is the level of service and hospitality. It is not your generic hotel and not a quiet escape but they have been able to provide an entire experience and not just a check in to check out stay. Highly recommend."
"So me and my partner stayed at the Dean for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. For anyone staying just know when you check in they will take a €100 security deposit so be aware. I assume this if for the mini bar in the rooms. When you check in make sure to ask about everything you want to know as there website is hard to navigate to find opening and closing times for the gym and pool. In the rooms there is some cool features like the semg fridge and the record player. They do have bath robes but be aware if you are a tall person or slightly heavier just know it’s on size fits all for the bath robes which I something I didn’t like. The room was clean except for the brown tan stain on the bed which when we mentioned it they cleaned right away. I would of liked a follow up for this but it never came. All in all the hotel is very nice and walking distance to the town so no need for taxis. On check out they will ask you if you had anything in the room which we had a vitamin water which we paid cash for. I then got my refund for the security deposit which they didn’t give back full amount saying we got a chocolate bar, which we didn’t. I am now waiting to hear back from management. It might be only €6.60 but it’s the principal of the matter. I will give this stay a 3/5 Star for the reasons above with no follow ups on incident with bed, little information about hotel amenities such are pool and restaurant, taking a security deposit with no knowledge before checking in. I hope for anyone going to stay at the hotel finds this helpful. Regards, Mark"
"Great hotel, comfy beds, lovely bathroom and shower. Room small but that wasn’t a problem On the first night the bedroom was vibrating with the bass from the music. There was a wedding underneath us and it was loud. It took about an hour but it they did move us to a different floor. We had food in the rooftop restaurant , lovely restaurant and attentive staff. Food was good but not amazing. Tried several cocktails which were fabulous! Sat in the hotel bar in the evening, good vibes, music was great and had a great evening. Overall the pricing is a bit higher than normal but I would definitely go back for the experience. Opted for no breakfast so no pressure to get up in the morning but you could get room service. Went down for coffee and croissants around 10 am , was 10 euro for two. Stay for two nights was 360 euro Meal for two in the restaurant with a drink each a starter and a main was 115 euro In the bar a cocktail and pint was 20 euro, which I thought was ok. My only negative was the room was a bit dusty and could have been cleaned a bit better. ."
"Great staff..if a little young...where are the older people? Like no one over 30... is that about appearances or about wages? But they were super friendly and helpful.. Good on tap wine during dinner and great cocktails before and after. Food was very tasty. Lovely decor and views. Look forward to visiting again."
"The details and thought behind every aspect is stunning. Great vibe. Food on the rooftop patio was perfect. The gym sauna pool in the morning were great. All in all an excellent experience and very quick walk into the city center. Only downside but not worth docking stars - no parking available on site and the protein shakes after the gym were horrible"
