"Stayed last weekend. Room very small for the price. Parking a big problem. I would have expected a nice cosy sitting room to relax in. I felt it was all about doing as little as possible for you. Incredible location but unfortunately I won't be staying with you again. Siobhan"
"Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect. The hotel was built in 1840 and has lots of charm, and is well maintained. The rooms are very clean, staff are professional, and best fish and chips I ever tasted. Would highly recommend and will definitely return."
"Beautiful old hotel! Rooms were updated nicely and very clean. Bathroom was bright and crisp! The restaurant delicious and reasonable. The steak sandwich with gravy was excellent and huge portions! I love the town. The view out of our hotel window of the sunrise was amazing!"
"Review is for food (lunch) only. Overall poor experience. Seafood chowder was devoid of any flavor or seasoning. Turkey and ham was served with deli ham, again completely devoid of flavor. Chips and chicken goujons were clearly frozen. Very disappointing especially given our last visit was so good"
"We went there for lunch, the food was at best average. We sat outside, took about an hour to get our order and when it came it wasn't worth the waiting. We had the steak sandwich, we asked for one medium, one rare, but both arrived overly cooked and cold. The taste wasn't too bad but I wouldn't go back."
