"Was here with my wife for our first wedding anniversary. The place was amazing set in the beautiful countryside, the whole place was spotless, lovely little touches throughout the cottage personalized for my wife and I. Only couple mins drive from Skibbereen town"

"Stayed in courtyard cottage number 2 alot smaller than it looks in photos and under same roof as cottage one so ya hear people next door in hot tub while you are upstairs in kitchen /living room area. Couch in living room not comfy. Bed very low down but we knew that from photos but mattress was well worn out noisy and not great quality but we slept OK. Contact free check in and not heating g on until a while after we arrived so house was cold on arrival. Very low ceilings in particular foot of stairs and shower in bathroom is tiny with stairs reducing the headroom in it due to bathroom under stairs. Entrance from bedroom to bath is very low. I'm 5ft 8 and I was very conscious of it . Few cobwebs on ceiling around timber work but didn't mind that rest of house was clean enough. Bathrobes provided for your use but if ya want to keep them their is a charge but they aren't worth keeping very thin and cheap feel to them. Theres even a charge for the little Teddy they put on the bed for you for your arrival its tiny probably coat €2 . However there were nice touches in places like our names on a chalk board at top of stairs welcoming us and some fresh milk in fridge for us to make coffee and bottle of wine in ice bucket with welcome letter. There is no switch clearly visible for to operate heating and states in welcome letter to contact them if you want it boosted but we didn't need to once it finally cut in after our arrival. Very warm house if ya close windows. So small tip leave them cracked. Very small driveway not suitable for long vehicles very tight corner where ya need to go around to get to cottage. Parking not best either bit tight too. As for scenery it's kinda on farmland for better word with ditch s and some kept lawn on one sides. Complimentary glass of wine included with your meal if you mention you stay there when eating at church restaurant in town which is very good and cosy and clean by way. Overall good stay for what we wanted but expected higher standard of finishes and maintenance for money paid. Probably will come back again but would rent a treehouse next time the seem to be bigger."

"Perfect!! We've waited a year to stay here and it was worth every minute of the wait. So private - we never seen anybody while we were there. Stayed in courtyard cottage 1 and it was just so cute. Hot tub was perfect and so hot to sit in during the evening- looking at the stars. Only thing I would say is the takeaways are bad and very limited so I would if going again bring my own food to cook."

"We stayed in the barn at grove house on a Monday and Tuesda in late November. This place is amazing. The Private outdoor hot tub is a fantastic addition to this perfect building. Despite the cooler temperatures we made great use of it, and if the weather had gotten in the way, the double Jacuzzi bath would have made a great substitute. We are already looking at dates for a return trip here. I highly recommend this little peice of heaven in west cork."
