"Went to the cafe earlier today. Was horrified to find a long hair in the mushroom soup. I tried to bring this up to the manager but she did not seem to have the time or patience for me. Would not be going back to that cafe ever again."
"Horrible experience. I went there with my friend for lunch. I didn't get any food as there were no vegan options but as we waited for my friends food the woman, who I assume is the manager, followed me around and kept staring at me. She approached me as I sat down and said I can't sit down unless I eat something, to which I replied and said my friend is waiting on her food. She said we both had to get food as the table was 'too big' (it seated 2).... so my friend had to get her lunch wrapped up for take away? Makes no sense. Besides that, there were food crumbs everywhere and the waiting staff seemed very stressed, chaotically bumping in to us as we queued. Wouldn't recommend."
"Must be the most overrated supervalu in co.Cork Confusing layout to begin with. Stock availability is poor no matter at what time I've visited the shop. Supervalu own brand is priced as per every supervalu but other products are overpriced. Staff at checkout are unprofessional. No greeting only final price of your shopping. Bakery is very much overrated too. Definitely going back to Bantry, Clon or even Dunmanway for a nicer shopping experience"
"Supermarket is phenomenal. Really love to shop here. The Cafe, however, is such a disappointment. Tables are left dirty, the staff just clear the plates but dirt and napkins are left behind. Food on the chairs and mess everywhere. Really expected a lot more from the cafe but I do think it let's down the good name the supermarket has. Sorry to leave this review but I'm that surprised at our own experience this week. With health and safety so important at the moment I think cleaning standards should be raised."
"On holiday last year, ran in quick for a kilo of locally-caught mussels (which were amazing), and were very impressed at the products. Wish we had more time to explore, and that we picked up some of those duck eggs to try! Very clean, helpful staff. Parking lot a bit crazy."
