Reviews
"Super friendly staff. Good food, reasonable price. Dog friendly. Cosy fire. Dave highly recommends."
"Very good food and friendly staff, you feel welcomed. The owner is very nice and helpful, an original. Don't get fooled by the location. We only ate in the restaurant. A clear recommendation."
"We stopped in for a quick bite and were very pleasantly surprised by the best vegan burger we've had on this trip! Friendly staff, pleasant patrons and a lively football match on the TV."
"We arrived around 12.30 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve 2022. After a long drive from north of Dublin. What to say, a wonderful bar, full of character and friendly. We had starters, a super mushroom soup and brown bread. I had a super beef stew and my partner lemon sole. All dishes were delightful, great quality plain homecooked food, tasty and nourishing. The bar looked well stocked, although we only drank tea. Even here though you don't get a minature pot but a proper sized pot for two. Locals arrived as we dined all having a dinner. This is a no nonsense friendly irish family pub, and a treasure."
"Crew was very quick and kind. Breakfast and room were okay, price/quality ratio totally worth it. Lovely small bar at the ground level, with many beers and locals"
